You’ve probably noticed that green is everywhere now-a-days — In the news, politics, fashion, technology, and even buildings!  TK Services, Inc. is proud to announce the development of United States Green Building Council (USGBC).  The USGBC is a non-profit community with leaders working to make green buildings available to everyone within a generation.  Today, in the United States alone, buildings account for 72% of electricity consumption, 39% of energy use, 40% of raw material use, 30% of waste output annually, and so forth.  Green development is a holistic approach that provides integrated solutions to housing, health and environmental challenges.  Green buildings benefit everyone in the community as they improve air and water quality, reduce solid waste, conserve natural resources, reduce operating costs, enhance asset value and profits, and overall positively contribute to the quality of life.
